The collection of the Museum für Angewandte Kunst Frankfurt includes European applied art from the 12th to the 21st centuries, design, book art and graphic art, Islamic art, as well as art and applied art from East Asia. Characteristics of the exhibitis are their unique aesthetics and craftsmanship that is simply masterful in its use of materials.
