L'Associazione Artistica di Francoforte, una delle più rinomate gallerie d'arte per l'arte contemporanea, ha come scopo quello di avvicinare i suoi visitatori alla preminenza sociale dell'arte contemporanea attraverso organizzazioni di eventi mirate, oltre che con mostre temporanee. Gaining spatial independence in it’s new location (Leinwandhaus since 2008), the Caricatura will be able to present in full the myriad works of the „New Frankfurt School“ in one comprehensive permanent exhibition while simultaneously using changing exhibitions to put on show the current stock of satirical art of the German-speaking world. At the same time, Frankfurt will be promoting this new location to underline its position as Germany’s capital of satirical comedy.

Ventitré quartieri costruiti negli anni Venti da Ernst May nello stile funzionale del Bauhaus. La Nuova Francoforte divenne famosa (per es. Quartiere Römerstadt, Quartiere della Patria ecc.). I quartieri e gli edifici della Nuova Francoforte sono insieme al Bauhaus a Dessau e al Quartiere Weißenhof a Stoccarda i più importanti esempi di storia dellarchitettura del primo modernismo in Germania.

Il Museo illustra in modo evocativo il percorso esistenziale di Albert Schweitzer con molte immagini, registrazioni audio, lettere, libri e oggetti del suo quotidiano. Inoltre Albert Schweitzer viene apprezzato come persona dalle molteplici identità, come teologo, come medico, come musicista e come sostenitore della pace.

The Frankfurt Children's Museum develops and presents interactive exhibitions especially for families with children age 6 and up. The new location at the Hauptwache attracts not only families, but also school classes and other children’s groups. Beyond the public exhibition children can be active and creative in a variety of specially booked workshops or even celebrate their birthday party at the museum.

The Dialog Museum, located in Frankfurt's east side, is no ordinary museum. In fact, it's actually three seperate exhibitions in one. Firstly, there's "Dialogue in the dark", a special exhibition in which visitors are challenged to discover the world of unseen. Blind museum guides lead visitors through a pitch-black exhibition, making it necessary for senses other than sight to come to fore.

Il Museo di Scultura Antica Liebighaus è stato aperto nel 1909 negli ambienti della villa del Barone Liebig, costruita nel 1896, e di un ala di galleria ulteriormente aggiunta, che nel 1987 è stata ampliata con una seconda ala, costruita in modo simmetrico. Il museo riunisce sculture dell'antichità egizia, greca e romana, opere del Medioevo, del Rinascimento, del Barocco, del periodo neoclassico e del lontano oriente. Fino al 2005 la collezione è arricchita dalla mostra ospite.
