Paulskirche

Here the National Assembly created the first democratic constitution for Germany.

Consecrated in 1833, this church served as the seat for the first German national assembly in 1848, which in turn provided the basis for Germanys present-day constitution. Today, the site hosts award presentations as well political and cultural events.



Main entrance accessible via two 16-cm steps. Stepless side entrance at the rear of the building (Berliner Straße, please press the bell for assistance).

Guide dogs are permitted.
