Nizza Gärten

A little taste of the Côte d'Azur right along the River Main!

This magnificent garden landscape, created between 1866 and 1875, stretches along the Main between the Lower Main Quay and the Friedensbrücke. Protected by sandstone retaining walls, one finds a variety of citrus trees, fig trees, palm trees, cedars, even a ginkgo tree.

From Untermainbrücke only accessible by stairs. Stepless access from Eiserner Steg directly alon‚g the River Main or via the descent at Holbeinsteg.
