Museumsufer
The Frankfurt museum embankment (Museumsufer) is one of the most important locations for museums in Germany and Europe.

This unique boulevard of museums offers cultural delicacies ranging from applied arts and architecture to film, fine arts, Jewish history, antique sculptures and much more. Architects such as the renowned Richard Meier and O.M. Ungers designed some of the more recent architectonic creations.
The Main embankment on street level is partially cobblestoned. The descents from Schaumainkai to the riverside are situated across from the park of the Museum of Applied Arts, at Schaumainkai No. 53, at the Städel Museum and near Rubensstraße. The descent at Schaumainkai is paved at Rubensstraße. All other descents are cobblestoned. However, each of the descents has a
paved section for wheelchair users.
