Our culinary weekend in Frankfurt includes a traditional dinner, a bag of “Bethmännchen” marzipan biscuits, a book on Frankfurt apple wine, hotel accommodation and the Frankfurt Card.

Green sauce with boiled eggs and jacket potatoes, a glass or two of effervescent apple wine, a sweet “Bethmännchen” treat – these are just some of the many examples of local Frankfurt fare.

Come and take a stroll through the “Kleinmarkthalle”, Frankfurt’s time-honoured indoor grocery market, and spoil yourself with culinary treats from across the globe. Or sit back and enjoy a “cuppa” at the traditional Frankfurt teahouse, Ronnefeldt. During summer, we suggest a visit of Lohrberg Heights, home to the “MainÄppelHaus”, an information centre and place of encounters that focuses on fruit, horticulture and nature in general.
