This weekend arrangement focuses on our favourite places in Frankfurt and includes hotel accommodation, breakfast, admission to various establishments and a typical Frankfurt dish served with apple wine.
The Palmengarten and the Goethe-House are two of Frankfurt’s most popular attractions. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, the city’s favourite son and Germany’s most celebrated author, was born in Frankfurt in 1749. His birthplace, a historical townhouse reconstructed true to the original and furnished in the style of the time, offers visitors a closer look at what life was like during Goethe’s era. The Palmengarten, meanwhile, is a pleasant oasis of green nestled in the heart of the city. The extensive botanical garden invites visitors to enjoy scenic natural surrounds, with its impressive greenhouses taking you on a trip through our world’s many climate zones. Your Frankfurt experience is rounded off with a visit of one of the traditional apple wine pubs of Sachsenhausen, Frankfurt’s popular going-out district, where you’ll enjoy a traditional meal accompanied by drinks and much merriment.
