This weekend arrangement focuses on some of our favourite locations: Hotel accommodation, breakfast, the Frankfurt Card, admission to various establishments and a typical Frankfurt meal with apple wine are all included.
The Palmengarten and the Goethe-House are two sightseeing attractions that simply must be part of every Frankfurt visit. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Germany’s most celebrated author and poet, is also Frankfurt’s most famous son, having been born here back in 1749. Visits of his birthplace in the old town of Frankfurt offer insight into the life and times of the renowned scribe. His family home has been restored true to the original, while much of the furniture remains from his time there, including his famous writing desk. The Palmengarten, meanwhile, presents itself as an oasis of green in the heart of the finance metropolis of Frankfurt. The beautiful parkland invites visitors to rest and relax, or to explore greenhouses representing flora from all of the world’s climate zones. Your Frankfurt experience is rounded off with a stop-off at a traditional apple wine pub.
