City Trip: Poets and Thinkers

Description
Hotel package with breakfast, Frankfurt Card, museum admissions and a special Frankfurt delicacy
Frankfurt is a city of literature, and not just because it annually hosts the Frankfurt Book Fair or is the home of the German National Library. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe – Germany’s most famous poet and author – was also born here. His birthplace, the Goethe-House, has been turned into a place of living history, paying tribute to the great writer.
Right next to it, one finds the unique Museum of German Romanticism. Newly built, the architecture and exhibition merge into a showpiece that provides fascinating and entertaining insights into this significant artistic era, while at the same time presenting Romanticism in all of its variations – as an epoch of cultural history, an aesthetic programme, an attitude of mind or simply a feeling.
