This weekend of culture includes hotel accommodation, museum admission and a typical Frankfurt meal.
Have you ever wanted to see an Oscar, the famous cinematic award, up close? Perhaps you’re more interested in finding out how ferocious a Tyrannosaurus rex truly looks? Or maybe your desires are of a more design-oriented fashion? Whatever your preference, Frankfurt’s many museums make it all happen. The metropolis on the River Main is home to a colourful variety of museums and exhibition houses, such as the German Film Museum, the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History and the Museum of Applied Arts. Those tickled by the art of satire, meanwhile, will find the Caricatura Museum to their liking. And if the old masters are your thing, then there’s no going past the world-famous Städel Museum, which puts on display some 700 years of art and culture. All in all, there are more than 30 museums to choose from. And after a museum visit, why not take some rest and refresh yourself at one of the city’s cosy apple wine pubs, where you’ll be able to plan the next stop on your cultural tour.
