Frankfurt Airport

To & From

FRA and Its Surroundings

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is Germany’s busiest airport, located south of Frankfurt right next to the intersection of three of Europe’s busiest motorways. It is ideally located for serving as a gateway to the entire Rhine-Main Region and beyond. Around 100 airlines serve more than 300 continental and intercontinental destinations in about 100 countries nonstop from here. Frankfurt Airport boasts two independently accessible full-service passenger terminals, and a third terminal is currently under construction. Two train stations directly link it to the surrounding area and more than 200 cities in Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. Downtown Frankfurt is also very close and can be conveniently reached in only 15 minutes by suburban train.

Additional Transportation

There are also long-distance bus connections from FRA to a variety of destinations across Germany, and all major car rental companies are represented in the terminals.
