Shopping & Lifestyle

Shopping Centres
If shopping’s your thing, then the Zeil promenade with its retail chains and international labels is the place to go. Here, you’ll also find the architecturally imposing MyZeil shopping mall, home to some 100 shops, a food court, fitness centre and the recently reopened Astor Film Lounge. The Skyline Plaza in the Europa Quarter is a similarly popular shopping paradise, one that also features health and wellness with the Meridian Spa as well as a rooftop garden terrace, the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing beverage and fantastic views of the Frankfurt skyline, particularly at sunset.
Noble and Elegant
The more luxuriously minded among you are urged to head to Goethestraße and Neue Rothofstraße, the home of the most sought-after stylists and posh designer boutiques. Nearby, you’ll also find Frankfurt’s finest delicatessens lining the Freßgass’ all the way to the old opera house, one of the city’s most scenic culinary locations.
Individual and Independent
Trendsetters like to do their shopping on Leipziger Straße with its college-style flair. Small, independent boutiques selling items handmade by Frankfurt designers are sold on Oeder Weg and Berger Straße as well as Wallstraße, Brückenstraße and Schweizer Straße. And if you suddenly need a break from your shopping spree, simply turn in at one of the charming cafés or trendy bars lining these streets. A serving of homemade vegan ice cream or a visit of the apple wine merchant, Jens Becker, both to be found in Sachsenhausen, are highly recommendable.
