During the summer of 2024, the UEFA EURO football tournament will be following its motto to the very letter: "United by Football. United in the Heart of Europe". The games of the tournament, taking place from 14th June to 14th July 2024, will be spread out across ten German host cities, with a total of five matches being held at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt. Football will be on show not only in the stadium, however: The entire city of Frankfurt will be immersed in football fever. All those not attending the matches held at Frankfurt's football stadium but with plenty of enthusiasm for the games on offer are encouraged to visit one of Frankfurt's official fan zones. These fan zones will be offering plenty of seating, food and drink stands, special activities and much, much more. Football fans and even those who simply want to absorb that special football feeling will find these fan zones situated in Frankfurt's city centre and along the banks of the River Main.

One of the matches held in Frankfurt is already certain to be a tournament highlight: The third group match of the German national team will be taking place in Frankfurt on 23rd June! Should the German team not have achieved qualification for the knock-out stage through its first two group matches, then this match is sure to promise plenty of suspense. If the match does end up being crucial in terms of Germany's qualification chances, then there'll surely be action galore in the stadium and at Frankfurt's fan zones. We already saw how popular the fan zones in Frankfurt were during the FIFA World Cup 2006. Back then, the fan zone along the River Main attracted well over two million football supporters from all around the world, cheering their teams to victory or consoling them in defeat. Whichever team you support, come down to our fan zones and enjoy the fun and games.

As was the case back in 2006 at the MainArena, all of the tournament's games will be shown on various large-scale screens, some even from a pontoon moored on the river itself, thereby ensuring that everyone has a great view of the action no matter where they are sitting or standing. The atmosphere at the fan zone is sure to once again be exciting and inviting, with fans enjoying summery temperatures, a cool beverage or savoury snack in hand and a refreshing breeze blowing across the river. Countless deckchairs, sun umbrellas and grassy meadows invite fans to sit or lie back and take some rest ... until kick-off. Then, when play begins on the pitch, the atmosphere will turn into one of excitement, emotion and suspense, creating an scene that is second to none.
