Frankfurt’s New Old Town is finalist in international tourism awards
A tourism project/initiative aimed at attracting more visitors to Frankfurt am Main has been shortlisted for a major international tourism award. The New Old Town has been shortlisted by the British Guild of Travel Writers for the award for ‘Best Europe Tourism Project’ in the ‘BGTW International Tourism Awards 2020’.

Closure of the northern bank of the River Main in Frankfurt from August 2019
From 29th July 2019, certain sections of the Main Quay and Lower Main Quay between Lower Main Bridge (Untermainbrücke) and Old Bridge (Alte Brücke) will be closed off to traffic.
