The Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung is a museum of international standing located in the middle of one of Frankfurt’s most beautiful gardens. The former villa of Baron von Liebieg provides the unique setting for an encounter with some three thousand sculptures of the periods from ancient Egypt through Neoclassicism. As visitors explore the five-thousand-year history of sculpture, they find their way into the smallest nooks and crannies tucked away beneath the roof of the historical building’s tower.
